Going down Pre-Teen Angst Memory Lane, Plinky? Great way to start the day.
Worst teacher ever told the class that she wanted to be an international translator but didn't have enough money so instead she was stuck doing "this" – teaching. From that point on, I had zero confidence in her and really worried about whether I was getting any real educational benefit from her.
Years later, I learned she was a principal of another school. Way to go. (snark)
